Measuring for Your Spa Cover
Question: Should I measure just the spa (acrylic), or should I include the wood rim?
Answer: This is based purely on each individual persons preference. Traditionally most people measure only the physical spa, the acrylic, lip to lip. When measuring for your spa cover, it is always better to measure to big then too small. If the measurements are too small, the cover will not fit correctly, and there will be areas for the heat to escape.
Question: How do you Measure The Radius (round corner)?
Answer: The key when measuring the radius is to NOT make it too big, which yes is just the opposite when taking measurements for your spa cover. If you measure the radius too big, it WILL NOT cover the radius corner. If you measure it too small, it will merely hang over the edge a bit which is the main objective. Keep the spa covered, so when dealing with rounded corners, a small radius is better then a larger one.
